Seismic expansion joint covers engineered for multi-directional movement
Seismic joints need covers that do more than close a gap: they must accommodate multi-directional movement - opening, closing, shear and vertical displacement - and return to position without damage. The Genotek seismic and large-span range includes 33 systems for joint gaps from 15 mm to 450 mm, engineered for thermal, seismic and settlement movement in floors, walls and ceilings.
Pan-and-cover designs accept the adjacent floor finish for a flush architectural appearance, while heavy-duty centre-plate systems suit exposed applications and trafficked decks. These covers are specified for hospitals, airports, stadiums and high-rise towers in seismic regions. Every system ships with installation details, and movement calculations are available on request.
