Introducing the Z-5002
seismic movement accommodation
the z-5002 accommodates ±50% of nominal joint width in multiple directions (±75% for the z-5002-200 at 64 mm height). steel center bar and spring assemblies at 500 mm on center return the pan to center after movement.
water protection
an optional water barrier membrane can be specified with the z-5002. it is draped into the gap and retained by the base frames, so no mechanical punctures pass through the membrane sheet. order it together with the system.
load bearing
rated 10 kn in the system drawings, the z-5002 carries the floor finish across the joint on premium interior floors such as hotels, lobbies, airports, hospitals and malls.

Aesthetic Choice
The extruded aluminum center pan with nosing carries the same tile, stone or terrazzo as the surrounding floor, so only the nosing lines remain visible. At 50 mm and 64 mm heights for joints of 50 mm to 300 mm, the Z-5002 suits hotels, lobbies, airports, hospitals and malls where the finish must run across the joint.
