Where an expansion joint crosses a roof, podium deck, car park or wet area, the cover must seal as well as move. The Genotek watertight range includes 14 systems for joint gaps from 10 mm to 300 mm, all rated watertight, covering thermal, seismic and settlement movement in surface-mount and recess-mount configurations for concrete and paver finishes.
A failed joint seal is one of the most common sources of water damage in podium and basement construction - and one of the most expensive to re-open.
