Introducing the OF-4100
The PROFLOOR SM Series OF-4100 is a surface-mount centre-bar seismic floor expansion joint cover. Extruded aluminum base frames carry an aluminum or stainless steel cover plate on high-density rubber glide pads, centered by steel turn bar assemblies at 500 mm on center. The 200 mm size adds a rubber seal for noise control and a recess for the floor finish, and the OFK-4100 variant uses an aluminum wall hinge. It is not intended for forklifts or other heavy concentrated wheel loads.

Aesthetic Choice
The aluminum or stainless steel cover plate sits over the finished floor, and on the 200 mm size a recess takes the floor finish so the joint blends in.
Optional Vapor Barrier
For added protection, an optional vapor barrier is available, constructed from either EPDM or TPV, which offers high tensile and tear resistance, ensuring long-term performance against moisture penetration
Cover Plate Flush with the Finished Floor
The aluminum or stainless steel cover plate stays flush with the finished floor during thermal movement.
Galvanized Steel Turnbar Assembly
Galvanized steel turnbar assemblies at 500 mm centers hold the cover plate centered over the joint.
Slides Over the Floor in Seismic Movement
In seismic or multi-directional movement the cover plate temporarily displaces and slides over the finished floor.
