Introducing the Z-1660
movement accommodation
the z-1660 accommodates movement of up to ±25% of the nominal joint width in floor-to-floor and floor-to-wall conditions. the extruded aluminum glide plate slides between the frame and profile, so the cover stays flat and flush with the finished floor as the slabs move.
water protection
an optional water barrier membrane is draped into the joint and held by the base frames, so no punctures or anchor holes pass through the membrane. it helps keep water from passing through the joint to the floor below.
load bearing
rated for pedestrian and vehicular traffic classes, depending on the joint width and profile height, the all-aluminum z-1660 carries busy floors in malls, airports, hotels and offices, including light vehicular areas.

Aesthetic Choice
The Z-1660 is an all-aluminum recessed cover that finishes flush with the floor. Six frame heights from 15 to 60 mm let it sit directly on the blockout base at finished floor level, with no packing or cutting, so the metal surface stays neat across joints up to 200 mm wide.
