Introducing the GENFOAM-A
seismic movement accommodation
genfoam-a is suited to seismic separations and other moving joints: the sealant bellows and impregnated foam either side of the central spline follow the movement while the metal cover plate carries traffic across the opening.
water protection
factory-applied, traffic-grade sealant bellows sit flush with the deck surface and give a watertight seal at deck level. anchoring by foam backpressure and epoxy means no metal anchors penetrate the concrete or the seal.
load bearing
the genfoam-a is trafficable and designed for heavy vehicle loads. an extruded central spline carries an aluminum or stainless steel cover plate, fixed with self-tapping screws at 300 mm centers, across the opening.

Aesthetic Choice
The GENFOAM-A cover plate is available in aluminum or stainless steel, with the sealant bellows finished flush with the deck surface. It is drawn in two versions: GENFOAM-A-100 for floor-to-floor joints (200 mm sightline) and GENFOAM-AK-100 for floor-to-wall joints (150 mm sightline).
