the genfoam is specifically recommended for high-traffic areas such as bridge expansion joints, parking garage joints, and highway longitudinal or transverse joints. to enhance its performance under load, a tooled radiused edge on the adjacent concrete corners is recommended, which reduces the effects of impact loading from vehicles and prevents edge erosion or spalling.
