Introducing the WTZ5500
movement
the wtz5500 takes up thermal and structural movement (the movement for each size is in the profile specifications below) while the cover stays seated on both sides of the joint.
integral punctureless water barrier
the cross-section reveals the punctureless epdm/tpv water barrier integrated below the hinged pan assembly, connected to the adjacent waterproofing membrane for complete watertightness.
load bearing
the wtz5500 under traffic, rated for heavy pedestrian and light vehicular traffic. the load capacity of each size is in the profile specifications below.
seamless finished installation
with tile or carpet laid into the recessed pan and the aluminum hinge cover flush with the finish, the joint all but disappears from view in premium front-of-house floors.
Aesthetic Choice
The recessed centre pan takes the surrounding floor finish, so only slim aluminum lines stay visible, shown here in marble, porcelain tile and polished concrete.
